Nyaguda Advisory

Consultancy you can execute — IT, storage, data, applications, and the business around them.

We sell written advice first: what to run, where to keep it, who owns it, and how to charge for it. Implementation and hosting stay on their own meters. If the plan needs a website, a Work app, or a VPS, those are separate SKUs — not buried inside a day rate.

Practice areas

Six desks. Pick one for a Brief. Combine them in a Sprint or a Practice plan.

IT services

What to run in-house, what to buy, and which vendor is actually accountable. Stack choices, security hygiene, and a support model that does not steal time from hosting.

Storage

VPS disk versus object storage, published quotas, cost per gigabyte, and when to stop pretending leftover NVMe is a product.

Data

What to keep, for how long, who owns it, and whether last month’s backup has ever been restored. Archives, working sets, and offboarding paths.

Data-center data services

When a VPS is enough, when colocation or a data-center provider is the right move, and how to read the bill. We advise. We do not operate a data center.

Application IT

What belongs in the app, the API, the admin, and the database. Store binaries versus a PWA. How to keep a mobile product maintainable without enterprise theatre.

Building an IT business

Packaging, meters, attach rate, capacity, and a 12-month operating plan. For founders who want an IT company that can be invoiced — not a freelance habit.

How an Advisory engagement works

Same commercial shape as a build: scope, written order, deliverable, then optional retainer. Advice does not include free implementation.

  1. Name the question — IT, storage, data, a data-center decision, an app, or the business itself.
  2. Choose a Brief, a Sprint, or a Practice plan. You get a written pack you can execute.
  3. If the plan needs hosting, storage, backups, or Nyaguda Work, those are quoted as their own SKUs.
  4. Stay on a monthly Advisory retainer if you want a named person on the calendar.

Project packages

Fixed quote after a short discovery call. Launch starting points, not a contract until written.

Advisory Brief

$800–$1,500 project

  • One practice area
  • About one week
  • Written memo and recommendation
  • One review call
  • Best for a single decision

Advisory Practice

$6,000–$12,000 project

  • Three or more practice areas
  • Four to six weeks
  • Full IT / data / commercial plan
  • Includes “build an IT business” track if asked
  • Best for a new or repositioning company

Monthly Advisory retainers

Scheduled advice. Different from a support retainer, which buys tickets when something breaks. Hours unused in a month do not roll unless the contract says so.

Advisory Desk

$400 / month

  • 4 included hours
  • Weekday async
  • One practice area
  • Next-business-day replies

Advisory Counsel

$1,500 / month

  • 16 included hours
  • Two working sessions per month
  • Full practice catalog
  • Written notes after each session

Advisory hours are never “included free” inside hosting. That is how consulting stays solvent and how a finance person can tell advice from operations.

Who this is for

Operators who need a decision

You have a host, a pile of files, or an app idea, and you need someone to say what to do next — in writing — without hiring a department.

Founders building an IT company

You want meters, SKUs, and a capacity rule, not a motivational workshop. We use the same model we run: implementation today, operations every month.
